Today the new RAEX IR.21 Infocentre solution, which is free of charge to all GSMA operators and roaming hubs, has been officially launched by the GSMA. The solution has been developed by ROAMSYS and enables the industry to quickly benefit from the advantages that come along with the RAEX. From 1st of May all operators are requested to be compliant with the mandatory standard for RAEX IR.21. – With the new application this can be easily achieved.

With the RAEX system operators can create and maintain their own IR.21 document in the new RAEX XML format. Once the document is finalized it can be easily published through the tool and forwarded to all roaming partners automatically. The solution also allows to store and maintain all partner RAEX IR.21 documents and offers reporting functionalities to run queries and reports across partner documents.

To have a look into the new tool, please log in to the GSMA Infocentre with your username and password and go to the IR.21 admin area. Also, please feel free to contact us should you have any questions or feedback with regards to the RAEX IR.21 Infocentre solution.

We are looking forward to see the whole industry RAEX IR.21 compliant soon!

The ROAMSYS Team

The GSMA organization has commissioned ROAMSYS with the development of a RAEX IR.21 solution. The new application is available from 1st of April and is free of charge for all GSMA members. The system can be accessed through the GSMA Infocentre and enables mobile network operators to become fully compliant with the new RAEX IR.21 standard which becomes mandatory on 1st of May. The electronic RAEX IR.21 format will make the exchange and agreement process of IR.21 documents easy and efficient and is the prerequisite for further benefits like advanced reporting and workflow optimization.

“We are proud that the GSMA has chosen ROAMSYS to provide the RAEX IR.21 solution for the Infocentre. It is evidence for ROAMSYS expertise on all RAEX matters”, said Hendrik Hoehndorf, Director Business Development at ROAMSYS.

“The RAEX application will provide saving on time and effort spent by operators implementing changes to roaming relationships which will benefit both the Mobile Operators and Roaming Hubs. We are pleased to see that already 60 GSMA members support RAEX as the mechanism to exchange technical roaming information, even before the launch of the application on 1st April 2011″, said Jose Antonio Aranda Legazpe, RAEX Project Director at GSMA.

ROAMSYS has launched a new tool that will allow you to get an easy overview and run reports on all live or in-test agreements of specific roaming services. For example you can filter for a list of all countries where you have implemented a live voice roaming agreement. E.g. this information can then be used for marketing reasons. Of course you can also run reports to easily identify countries or services that you have not covered sufficiently yet. The Connection Manager is fully integrated into the Rollout Manager that also helps you to track and run the implementation of new roaming services from first contact with the roaming partner until going live of the service.
