What is a RMS?
RMS stands for Roaming Management Solution or Roaming Management System. One of our customers describes it well as “a virtual work place which supports roaming teams of wireless operators in getting their job done efficiently”. Depending on the the type of solution, roaming staff can store, retrieve, query, plan and track all activities during the implementation and the operational phase of all your roaming relationships. Ultimately an RMS makes your daily work as a roaming expert easier.
-
Is ROAMSYS also behind the GSMA Infocentre RAEX application?
Yes, we have build the RAEX application in the Infocentre for the GSMA. The tool allows every GSMA operator to become compliant with RAEX IR.21 easily and free of charge. Therefore more and more operators distribute their documents in the electronic format which is highly beneficial for those MNOs that use a sophisticated roaming tool to leverage this valuable incoming data-flow.
-
Which Data Clearing Houses (DCH) are supported by ROAMSYS RMS?
The answer to this is very easy: All of them! ROAMSYS RMS is based on RAEX which is an open industry standard especially designed for the best possible interoperability. So, even if some clearing houses might tell you otherwise, the choice whichRMS you want to use is totally yours and there is no need to use a tool provided by your clearing house. ROAMSYS RMS even offers an interface to all clearing houses which allows an automated document handling process between the RMS and theDCH.
-
Does ROAMSYS offer tools for roaming hubs?
Yes, ROAMSYS offers different solutions for roaming hubs. As the requirements of each hub are both similar in some areas but also quite individual in others, our hubbing solutions are based on a standard framework which would be extended and customized to match your individual needs.

-
Is RAEX mandatory?
Yes, since 1 July 2008 it is mandatory to be compliant with RAEX AA.14, since 1 May 2011 RAEX IR.21 is mandatory for allGSMA operators.
-
What is RAEX 2012?

-
